Carol L. Carbary
ACFRECarol L. Carbary, ACFRE, is the Chief Development Officer at College Now in Cleveland. She brings more than thirty years of fundraising experience from institutions including Case Western Reserve University, University Hospitals of Cleveland, Kent State, Cleveland State, Cleveland Clinic, and Junior Achievement of North Central Ohio. She has also served as VP of Advancement at Notre Dame College and Chief Development & Marketing Officer at Journey Center for Safety and Healing.
In 2015, Carol earned the prestigious ACFRE — held by only 117 people worldwide — and was honored as the 2021 Outstanding Fundraising Professional by the AFP Greater Cleveland Chapter. She holds a BA in Math/Physics, a BS in Biomedical Engineering, and an MBA from Kent State. Carol serves as Chair of the Board for Find Your Voice Now and has twice served on the AFP Greater Cleveland Chapter board, including as president.
Born in central New York, Carol has called Cleveland home for over 30 years. She lives in Cleveland Heights with her wife, cats, two children, and a grandson.
Jennie Canganelli
M.Ed., OCPSJennie Canganelli is a licensed School Counselor and Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist (OCPS), and a member of the Student Wellness Department at the Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio.
Her focus has been developing, coordinating, and providing prevention programs and services to students, staff, and families to educate, promote healthy choices, and build resiliency in young people.
Karen Lackey
MSSA, LISW-SKaren is an Independently Licensed Social Worker with over 40 years in professional practice. She completed her graduate degree in Non-Profit Management from Case Western Reserve University and has worked across prevention education, behavioral health, youth residential services, and juvenile justice.
Karen has developed youth-serving programs across Ohio and currently serves as a Wellness Coordinator for the ESC of Northeast Ohio. She has a keen interest in raising youth voice, developing young leaders, and fostering community engagement.
Brianne Scaglione
Brianne Scaglione is honored to serve as a Board Member for Find Your Voice Now, an organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
As a Probation Officer, Brianne has seen firsthand the importance of accountability, support, and having the right resources available when people need them most. This cause is especially meaningful to her because survivors need to know they are not alone. There is help, there is hope, and their voice matters.
Brianne believes every survivor deserves to feel heard, believed, supported, and empowered. She is proud to use her experience, her voice, and her time to support Find Your Voice Now and its mission to help survivors move forward — and to remind them that their story has the power to help others.
She is grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside survivors and be part of a community working toward a future where everyone can feel safe, heard, and empowered. 🖤
